International Women’s Day on Mar. 8 celebrates women and the work they do every day. This year’s #BeBoldForChange campaign focuses on promoting educational opportunities and professional advancement for women around the world.
Here, we list some of the women-owned restaurants, culinary and beverage businesses throughout metro Atlanta, in honor of International Women’s Day.
As a bonus way to contribute, all locations of Farm Burger — including Dunwoody, Buckhead and Decatur — will donate a portion of their profits on March 8 to the James Beard Foundation Women in Culinary Leadership Foundation. In addition, the Gwinnett location of Bananas Smoothies will offer 80-cent smoothies for women, and a Roswell brewery is hosting an event for International Women’s Brew Day.
